Congratulations to the girl's impressive 5th place finish, nearly getting fourth and bettering last year's 6th place. Adele Havlick and Olivia Sheridan each finished in the top 20, 11th and 12th respectfully. They were followed by Jilli Lange, Hazel Ryden, Mollie Spruce, Sophie McIntyre, and Kelsey Calhoun. It was a hard earned and well-deserved success! The race pictures were taken from Milesplit and Val Spruce.

It was a fabulous trip to Mesa, Arizona for the Desert Twilight XC Festival. We ran under the lights on Coyote Run Golf Course and it was an unimaginable setting. There were over 270 teams (MS/HS) competing in 25 races. We made it back to the hotel around 11pm with many great performances and a girl's 7th place finish in the Sweepstakes Race. Congratulations to Alita Alvarez, Eli Peterson, Parker smith, Adele Havlick, Olivia Sheridan, Jilli Lange, Kelsey Calhoun, Hazel Ryden, Sophie McIntyre, Emma Bahr, and Molly Spruce.

Last Thursday was a great day of racing for many individuals and the teams. The Boys' varsity was led by Eli Peterson (with a 32 sec PR), Rivers Rampe, Kamden Hernandez, Ian Rahill, and Kilian Howarth. Claude Nzitinda, Theo Buccholz-Guerrero, Owen Church, Harper Cayton, and Jackson Keating led the Boys' JV. Girls' varsity finished 2nd behind Adele Havlick (2nd), Jilli Lange (9th), Kelsey Calhoun (20th), Sophie McIntyre, and Hazel Ryden. Girls' JV finished 3rd behind Shannon Howarth (10th), Greta Kelly (11th), Paige Garrett (19th), Phoebe Johnson, and Piper Garrett. It was a really fun day in MVP, especially the dance party, and we look forward to celebrating the successes at practice tomorrow!
